    Student Concern Form

The Student Concern Form (SCF) is a document used to request assistance from the SSCB in endorsing in-campus complaints and student grievances. It serves as a mechanism for addressing concerns that may require immediate attention and action.

The SCF ensures that concerns are acted upon promptly, preventing delays that may arise from the fact that COSCA meetings are conducted only once per semester. Through this process, students can receive timely support and resolution for eligible concerns.

Onse Upon A Time, A Legacy Began: Grade 11 students end school year with Eleventh Hour

Draped in crimson and lit in red, the De La Salle Lipa SENTRUM was a beauty to behold in its final day for Grade 11 students. Built on the stories of a fairytale, the junior community danced the noon away in elegance and music during this year’s pioneering occasion—the Eleventh Hour!

Grounded in a fresh concept of Senior High School (SHS) celebration and spirit, the Eleventh Hour: Onse Upon A Time, the Senior Student Coordinating Board held the Grade 11 culminating activity on May 9, 2026, at the SENTRUM.

Serving as a prologue to the tale, the Senior Student Coordinating Board welcomed the level population to the afternoon banquet with inspiring messages from the administration and social mixers to tighten the knot between the event’s main characters: the SHS juniors.

Setting the fairytale atmosphere ablaze, the SHS Modern Dance Company delivered a charismatic performance that was as magical as it was electrifying.

As the story unfolded, the Heartthrob and Sweetheart enriched the story featuring ramps of each class’ enchanting beauties and charming men. Clothed in tones of scarlet and ivory, the junior audience exalted in cheers like loyal subjects celebrating their royalties.

Simultaneous with The Love Feast, a live voting for the Heartthrob and Sweetheart was opened, while magical performances anchored on belts and falsetto were offered by Nash Arden Diamzon (G11-18) and Francez Priolo (G11-14).

After the lunch, the Grade 11 students were like spectators to a coronation as the Heartthrob and Sweetheart of the year was hailed, crowned by Giannah Para and Jay-Jay Labong, SSCB Grade 11 Representatives.

Sashed by the administrator-packed panel of judges led by Sir Fred Angeles, Vice Chancellor for Mission, Vaughn Clarenz Inciong (G11-15) and Lian Denise Britania (G11-06) emerged victorious and were crowned Heartthrob and Sweetheart 2026, respectively.

Following the pageant segment, the awarding of winners for Class Logo Making and Lens of Love were recognized and handed the trophy, signifying their rising candidacies to be the next recipient of Class Spirit of the Year Award.

Adding to the evening's romantic finale, Grade 11 bands Terrafry and Shibuyas serenaded the student body with a lineup of nostalgic and crowd-favorite songs, including Kabisado, Shut Up and Dance, and Purple Rain.

As the final chapter came to a close, the afterparty officially began. DJ Paps took over the stage from the Grade 11 SSCB, energizing the crowd and drawing students to the stage, resembling a rave-like atmosphere.

Indeed, the first Eleventh Hour was more than just a culminating activity—it was a celebration of friendships forged, memories created, and a legacy begun, marking a magical end to the Grade 11 journey and an opening to the next.

REFUGEling The Spirit: iLAYA turns over nearly P 50K for educ donations

    January 2026
    Author: SSCB Executives

Set in the most humble of Lipasallian avenues, the Capilla de San Juan Bautista de La Salle stood transformed—no longer just a place of reflection, but a gathering ground for conviction and unity—as Grade 11 and Grade 12 students filled its halls.

Turning a humble chapel into a powerful witness of memory and resolve, the Senior High School (SHS) community takes a collective stand against racial persecution.

Through a formal handing of donations, the SSCB along with student-representatives from the Senior High School community turned over P47,250.00 to Rohingya refugees under Complementary Pathways (CPath) in January 28, 2026 at the DLSL Capilla.

This student-led collection will benefit students in CPath, a program of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), studying in selected schools of the De La Salle Philippines network.

In the turnover ceremony, the SSCB organized a holistic program featuring interactive talks by the UNHCR and Sir Andyo Abusmas, Deputy Director of DLSBI-SAU, awarding ceremonies, and letter-making activity to beneficiaries.

According to Sir Andyo Abusmas, this cash donation by the SHS community will benefit refugees in the form of student allowances and other educational materials.

In the simultaneous competition under iLAYA, G11-12 and S12-02 were hailed champions and acted as student-representatives to the formal turnover.

Runners-up were also recognized with G11-04 and S12-01, and G11-02 and S12-03 as second-places and third-placers respectively for Grade 11 and Grade 12 batches.

The ceremony closed on a quiet note, realizing that what was turned over that day was not only assistance, but a promise of continued solidarity with Rohingya refugees under CPath—a commitment that calls the community to keep turning awareness into action.

    NEWS AND UPDATES

CPATHin Natin, Lasallian: ILAYA 2025 charity bingo to benefit refugees under UNHCR

    October 2025
    Author: Student Council Core

While the Philippines wrestles with corruption under the shelter of our democratic halls, another nation to the north bleeds from wounds far deeper. Beneath its temples, rivers, and rich cultural heritage, the people of Myanmar sits on a history marred by oppression and exclusion.

For the longest time, it bled giving justice to the few and inequality to the many—especially the Rohingya.

In response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis faced by the Rohingya people, the Senior Student Coordinating Board (SSCB), in partnership with the Community Involvement Office (CIO) and the De La Salle Brothers, Inc. – Social Action Unit (DLSBI-SAU), organized a three-day fundraising bingo event in Hasyenda on October 7, 9, and 10, 2025. The initiative aimed to raise financial support and awareness for Rohingya refugees residing in the Philippines.

According to United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Rohingya people have endured a cycle of persecution that has stripped many of their homes, livelihoods, and sense of belonging for decades. Forced to flee state-sponsored violence and discrimination in Myanmar, hundreds of thousands have sought refuge in overcrowded camps and unfamiliar countries, carrying with them stories of loss and survival.

Up to date, families remain separated by borders, children grow up with little to no access to education, and the threat of gender-based violence continues to loom over their daily life.

Under the UNHCR, the Complementary Pathways programme selects Rohingya refugees who faced displacement in order to charitably provide them with their basic needs like safety and quality schooling.

This activity was launched in celebration of Peace Month wherein the selling period of bingo cards started around early September, mobilizing strong Lasallian participation across Senior High School (SHS) classes, with some attaining 100% engagement.

In a span of two weeks, the initiative successfully raised P 52,500, highlighting the Lasallian community’s collective spirit of service and impact.

“Bilang Lasalyano, nararapat pong sipatin natin hindi lamang ang ating mga pansarili o pambansang pangangailangan, kundi makibaka rin sa ating mga isyung pandaigdig. We, Lasallians, are known not because of our global name, but because we can respond to global needs. We are very proud of what we’ve done for iLAYA, and we hope to see you at the Turnover,” Luis Gabriel Pastolero, iLAYA Project Head says.

As the fundraising efforts draw to a close, anticipation now turns toward the SSCB’s formal turnover of donations and the impact that this humble collection will carry forward.
